Our landscape tells the story of our identity
Our landscape is the sum total of human interventions, a page that is constantly being written. Strootman Landschapsarchitecten cherishes the heritage that has arisen over the centuries. We see it as one of our finest tasks to build further on what is already there when a transformation is called for. We like working with historical geographers who can interpret features and structures from the past. We face the challenge of making the richness of history, which has sometimes disappeared from sight, tangible and legible again, sometimes by making the past visible, often as a source of inspiration for something new. In this way we add a new chapter to the history of the landscape.
