Technical Designer – Public Space
Strootman Landscape Architects, based in Amsterdam, works on landscape challenges across all scales. Our firm covers the full breadth of the field: from design research, strategy development, and regional planning to the design of forests, bridges, parks, and gardens, and from nature development to infrastructure design. We produce designs at all levels, from preliminary concept to final technical specifications (SO/VO/DO).
As a Technical Designer, you hold a key position in the phase between concept and realization. You will detail and visualize landscape layouts and specific elements (site plans, cross-sections, and technical details). We expect you to bring your creativity to the visualization and 3D modeling of our designs.
At our firm, you will have plenty of room for professional growth. We won’t throw you into the deep end; we provide internal guidance to help you get started. We value having a great atmosphere in the office. There is no culture of regular overtime, and besides our projects, we enjoy many activities together, such as shared lunches, drinks, and excursions both in the Netherlands and abroad.
